What is Buddy?
Buddy helps seniors live independently at home for longer, without feeling lonely. Fully voice-controlled, with no buttons or menus. Buddy talks about the news and hobbies, manages the calendar, reminds you of appointments and medication, and makes calling and video calling your loved ones easy.
Family members and others involved stay in touch and keep an overview through their own app, and get an alert when something doesn't seem right.
The story behind Buddy
The idea was born when one of our parents started getting forgetful and sometimes felt lonely. The phone kept going missing, staying in touch was hard, and we worried.
Our technical background and the rapid progress of AI inspired us: what if there were a friendly companion who is always there for you? Fully voice-controlled, no computer hassle.
And so Buddy was born.
